UNIBOOM HD-series conventional inflation oil containment boom The UNIBOOM range also includes a wide range of conventional inflation type boom for coastal and offshore applications. The UNIBOOM NO-60/80/100-HD-series is a conventional inflation boom for protected and open waters. Segmented buoyancy chambers are inflated individually by hand using a backpack air blower or compressor. The boom is easily deployed and has very high buoyancy to weight ratio providing excellent wave following characteristics. The HD-series is very durable and can remain deployed for a long period of time. The boom can be stored in a container or on a reel and is delivered in lengths of up to 500 meters.
